Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, when sharing a link to photos, the default view is set to “Show list view,” which isn't ideal for photo app. However, the “Show grid view” version is preferable for many users.

Describe the solution you'd like
I propose allowing users to customize the default view for photo share links. Specifically, I’d like to be able to set the default view to “Grid view” instead of “List view.”

Describe alternatives you've considered
An alternative approach could be for the platform to remember and retain the last used setting for each user.
I've noticed the mentioned of brand new Photo App, though I've no idea how to get it work when publicly sharing folder of photo.

Additional context
Here's the current default UI when I share Photo folder publicly:

Here's what I prefer to see as default:

I'd be super pumped to receive any insights on how to set it to the "brand new Photo app" when using public sharing link.
This enhancement would improve the user experience by providing a more compact view for shared photos.

Thank you for considering this feature request! 🙌🔍
