On the specific game ErnesTIC (available here) The player sprite's head doesn't turn as intended when it's going up or down. (see screenshots below) This behavior doesn't happen on the original tic80 machine.

On Retroarch: Head doesn't face upwards

I found a similar bug in Retroarch/libretro for Shadow Over the Twelve Lands the minimap arrows do not 'flip' accurately based on player direction. Works fine in the html5 build on tic80.com
sidenote I also tried SOTL on latest Arch binary to investigate this bug but the game has a crash that makes it unplayable
