Sometimes a long error doesn't fit my screen, and it would convenient if I could read everything without having to go Full Screen.

I assume you mean the cmdline, or buffer highlights? (Neovim)
The former are being truncated currently, but could probably be made wrapping if cmdheight is more than 1 (patch would be welcome), the latter cannot wrap.

There's the idea of using popup windows (Vim), and floating windows (Neovim) for that. (#2348).
