Given a domain class with a list of items, any items that were previously deleted will still be populated in the list, but as null. This causes calling items.size() to incorrectly report the number of undeleted items.
@LogicalDelete
class MyClass {
static hasMany = [items: MyClassItem]
}
// add some 6 MyClassItem items
// delete 4 MyClassItem items
// save
// later inspect list
println myClass.items
// reports [null, null, null, null, com.mypackage.MyClassItem : 12, com.mypackage.MyClassItem : 33]
