Cannot install the project under an OS other than OS X

npm complains about not finding git. do you have git installed?

It probably needs Python and other development tools as well. I'll hopefully be able to remove those dependencies soon but for now you'll probably have to install git, Python and Visual Studio in Windows and gcc and git in Linux.

Yeah, It's true that without dependencies, it would be better. I wonder just why with mac, it doesn't put me an error, because I haven't installed git and I doubt having python by default.
