Task description

Time to implement new properties, style settings, and preferences for automatically (or if a user so chooses, not) repositioning dynamics & hairpins relative to their respective voice AND centering dynamics & hairpins on multi-staff instruments.

The full Figma spec & prototype will be sent on Slack shortly. As JLo would say, Let's Get [More Precisely] Loud.

@Dima-S-Jr This is already a defined task. By all means suggest minor changes to it, but if you want significant extra functionality, raise it as a separate feature request. (And it would be nice if you wouldn't spam us constantly with those either; there might be some chance of us getting to some of them if you didn't post several per day.) In this case I'm removing the enormous essay you've posted here as it's quite inappropriate.

@Dima-S-Jr let me clarify something.

  1. Tasks like this one come directly from the internal team. They are well-defined projects that often taken weeks/months of study. We welcome suggestions, but we don't need your additional "time and study" on top of it. We have a team of professionals, we know what we're doing.
  2. You have opened 63 issues in 3 months. Nobody does that, and communities less welcoming than ours could have already banned you for that. You have to understand that triaging and classifying issues is a process that itself takes time, effort and resources. Opening dozens of feature requests does not help us, it wastes those resources.
  3. You overestimate the importance of your contribution. You are one person who logged 60 issues: we have 2500 of them. And most of those 2500 are actual issues. Most of yours are feature requests.
  4. You overestimate the importance of your opinions. A 2000 words essay on what you whink we should do is not a groundbreaking innovatively researched eye-opener, it's just a 2000 words opinion. If we get one of those every other day, it's also a 2000 words waste of time, cause nobody is ever going to be able to read everything you post, let alone implement it.
  5. How we prioritize issues is up to us, because, again, we know what we are doing and because, again, nothing makes your issues more important than the other 2500. Shouting at us "please deal with this" is extremely annoying for all of us and all but guarantees that you'll be ignored.
  6. Behind Bars is not a bible, reading Behind Bars does not make you an engraving expert, and posting screenshots from the book does not constitute "research". We make the engraving guidelines, we don't read them in Behind Bars. And we don't want people to think we do, hence why we remove the screenshots.

End.
