Tap +element icon should deselect current element

Crafting a page would be nicer if I could deselect my current element and see how it all looks. There isn't much space to do this in the background, so using a tap of the add element icon would work. A user could cancel that modal to view their composition.

Is this moot now that the tap behavior has been changed?

It still applies, but definitely isn't critical.

Steps to repeat:

• add couple large elements
• wish you could view page without selection dotted lines around an elemet
• tap Add Element "+" icon
• tap "x" icon to cancel
• dotted lines remain

Ideally, selection be dismissed on tapping "+" icon.
