  1. Remove the existing “project” panel UI entirely

  2. Create an always-visible save/share button

  3. Clicking opens a modal with:

  • an option to name your project, describe your project, give a contact email and twitter handle (for use in Viewing exported projects #77)
  • small notice that says: "make sure you double check this information; it can't be changed"
  • if first time clicking submit, go to step 4
  • if not first time, show "if you make changes and export again, we'll make a new video." After user clicks "OK" go to step 4
  1. Project is saved at Archive.org and sent to export queue
  1. The UI explains what happens next:
  • "great! we're cooking up your video. it can take up to 10 minutes." (see Export experience #75)
  • provide a link to the video
  • a smaller link "if you want to remix this project, return here"

Sam's branch has a "share" button now, that calls his rendering service:

antiboredom@87c9da0

We should figure out how to combine this with:

  1. tracey's "publish asset to archive" flow

  2. tracey's modal UI
