Describe the bug
Moonlight works great but if my machine has been running for a while it will give me a popup telling me that hardware decoding is not working. A reboot of my machine fixes it, but it keeps reoccuring.

Steps to reproduce
Probably related to my machine so not sure how you could repro at the moment, but it is pretty consistent on my machine.

  • I will reboot the laptop
  • connect to my vm and play a session
  • end the session by exiting the game and exiting Moonlight with Ctrl-Shift-Q
  • Some time later I try to start a new session and get the error

Screenshots

Affected games
Game seems not important but Kingdom Come Deliverance, Helldivers 2, Hearts of Iron 4, Dwarf Fortress

Other Moonlight clients
I can connect to my Sunshine server via android as well and have no issues with that
