Hey @nicjhan

@StephenGriffies is happy with this GitHub pages website and would like

http://www.mom-ocean.science

to point to

https://mom-ocean.github.io

Cheers

Aidan

Even moreso, I think we should dismantle http://www.mom-ocean.science so that visitors do not mistakenly think it is an active site. We can have a redirect to https://mom-ocean.github.io for sometime, but eventually let http://www.mom-ocean.science die.

The site it points to is a heroku instance that Nic can shut down when no longer required. The web address www.mom-ocean.science is just a pointer, which can point to any website.

But I agree that mom-ocean.github.io is a good URL, as it has a tight connection to the mom-ocean repository.

BTW, the MOM6-examples wiki still points to mom-ocean.org

https://github.com/NOAA-GFDL/MOM6-examples/wiki

I just updated the MOM6-examples to point to Gihub MOM5 site. Thanks @aidanheerdegen

There are likely other sites that need to be changed....
