Update popup does not disappear after 'cancel'

The update is only for valorant so i litterally couldnt give a shit it says it will stop bothering me if I click cancel but it does not.

Weird, it works fine for me. Do you have some kind of permissions issue that means the application cannot write to %appdata%/Deceive/updateVersionPrompted (maybe ran Deceive as admin once)?

Anyway, I strongly recommend that you just download the update. It's more stable than the current version, more resistent to changes in the future, and it's the only version I will provide support for. Updating is just replacing the executable anyway, doing it costs less time than it cost you to raise this issue.

Nevertheless, thanks for reporting. We'll have a look to see if we accidentally broke it.

That file you mentioned says v1.13.0 if that helps (Im on 1.12.1)
