haven't built the book yet (having problems with deps), but the first draft of the chapter is done (located at the end of mlr3book/bookdown/02-model-optimization/01-tuning.Rmd )

pls ensure that you can compile the book locally. do this now.
if this is hard, pls ask for help in the channel / complain

reworked and extended it to offer more information about the method than is described in the class description or the readme.
outline is complete from my side
a lot of small stuff (like eta sign, etc.) still needs to be fixed, but I would be glad about a first review, so I know if I have to delete or add stuff before I put more effort into fixing things.

Btw. I get some cryptical error at the pdf compilation, but serve_book works fine

Please check that this is already in the mlr3book PR here and close then: mlr-org/mlr3book#172

a PR regarding this was already accepted, but i dont think the current master of mlr3book is up-to-date mlr-org/mlr3book#71

I adapted to all upstream changes and merged above mention mlr3book PR. It technically works. If you want to add something, please open a new PR in mlr3book. Otherwise you can close this issue.
