SparkSQL as a Source

Hi. Are there any plans about when to add SparkSQL as a source?

Hi @mtthsbrr! Somehow we missed some datasources (including hive and athena, for example). We'll check out and back to you soon. Possible we'll add hive in several days.

Hi @mtthsbrr! Unfortunately we are confronted with errors when adding SparkSQL. This is related to the cubejs driver itself: cube-js/cube#297

Maybe it works with some exact versions described in the driver, but we need to check that

There is a workaround we will try in the meantime. It's about using Kyuubi as SQL interface server and utilizing the ability of exposing a Trino JDBC frontend instead of the Hive2 one. Will keep you posted.
