Can't change the channel where messages are posted

Whenever an inspection is completed, a message is posted in out "General" Teams channel. I want to change this as the software specifies I should be able to, but the change won't take. I select a new channel, click Save, and then when I leave the page it reverts back to "General." This is happening in two different Teams groups using the Inspection app.
