Set version not working in wsl 2

Unable to change ubuntu version 1 to version 2.

My Windows version:2004

Apologies this should have been dupped to #4364 thanks Ono. @poudyalrupak2 you can help out by collecting WSL logs and posting the backlink to the feedback item over in that issue. Also please identify any third-party networking software that has been installed on Windows.
