All Reaper's metering get forzen while DragonFly is open. When it is closed everything is fine. Audio stream works fine.

does the VST2 version work?

VST3 and CLAP use the same setup for idling the GUI, so seems normal for them to behave the same.
VST2 version uses old style of host-provided idling.

Installed VST2. No labels on the GUI as in VST3 and CLAP. But VST2 doesn't freeze Reaper's GUI
