Find a list somewhere on the webs and pick what we think should be included in a response

Here are tow long lists of meta tags and meta extensions.

Looking at the current source of lassie, the meta tag coverage seems fine to me. I'd add language and author, since I've seen these actually used.

why not allow users specify the tags themselves? or add interactive mode where Lassie lists all the tags on the page for users to choose? I can make a pull request if you like this idea

@neofyte It would be nice if a user could specify which meta or link tags to look for. Maybe by adding a custom filters attribute or something. I don't want them to be able to list all HTML tags though (a, img, strong, em, etc) That could get messy.
