"Saved!" div in editing panel displaces cursor during/after autosave

Hi !

When I am editing a post in the editing panel, the appearance of the "Saved!" div causes the cursor to displace. I'm not sure if what's happening is that the "Saved!" div causes the screen to move just a little to make room for it, or if it actually captures the cursor briefly. It seems to move it about 1 1/2 lines up, so that suddenly I'm typing in a sentence I already finished.
