Using Magento 1.9.2.3

I'm getting a "Mixed Content" error message when a popup extension tries to access a css file. Is there a way around this?

Or, should I exclude these files using the "Exclude List" in the settings? If so, I tried "skin/" but that didn't work. What's the correct format to enter into the "Exclude List" fields?
