If i have my videos already uploaded to an object-storage service like AWS S3, I would like nodetube to be a frontend for these videos instead storing them again in NodeTube.

Pretty easy to do, the codebase is already setup to be integrated with Backblaze B2, you could adjust it to work that way with AWS S3 as well.
