Issue with Unique Visitors Metric When Using Matomo with Looker Studio

I'm experiencing an issue when trying to obtain the unique visitors metric while using Matomo in conjunction with Looker Studio. When I attempt to view the unique visitors metric for a range of multiple days, I'm encountering an error, but if I look at the metric day by day, the data appears to be correct.

The problem arises specifically when I try to combine multiple days to get a broader view of visitor activity. However, when I try to view the data individually for each day, I don't encounter any issues.

I would like to understand why I'm experiencing this problem and how I can resolve it to accurately visualize the unique visitors metric over time.

Below, I provide some additional details that may be helpful in diagnosing and resolving the issue:

I'm using the integration between Matomo and Looker Studio to obtain and visualize analytics data.
I have verified that the data from Matomo is accurate when viewed within Matomo's own dashboard.
The issue appears to be specifically related to how Looker Studio is interpreting and presenting Matomo data when attempting to combine multiple days.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue when trying to obtain unique visitors metrics with Matomo and Looker Studio? Is there any known solution to this problem or any specific configuration I should adjust in Matomo or Looker Studio to resolve it?

Hi @Allinagencybcn, by error, do you mean you see 0 for Unique Visitors when more than one day is selected in Looker Studio?

If so, this is the expected behavior, at the moment anyway. Matomo doesn't support calculating unique visitors for arbitrary date ranges (an unfortunate side effect of the database technologies that are widely available for self-hosted software).
