This is my first attempt to use engauge-digitizer on my windows 11 desktop.
engauge version is 12.1 and I tried both the MSI installer and zip file (without the installer). but the image cannot be imported into engauge-digitizer.
here is a screenshot of the error.

in #363 a solution was introduced that take screenshot from the image and then use the engauge-digitizer again.
I suggest a comprehensive examination of this issue because in some cases, taking screenshots may lead to reduced image quality and that should not be acceptable.
