Recurring task option results in app freeze everytime

Recurring Task Feature Error

When I click on the "Recurring task" option in the weektodo, the application freezes for 1 minute. After the minute is up, a prompt appears asking me to either force quit the app or wait.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Add a task or click on the existing task.
2. Click the "Recurring Task" option icon.
3. Then Click the dropdown.

Then it will freeze the application. Then after a while, it shows a prompt for either Force quit or Wait.
Wait option will not solve the error.
