Update Grub-Live Theme #191
Comments
Well @philmmanjaro @Oberon2007 what new wallpaper ship here ? |
The wallpaper looks nice. Give it a try and create a new package for 18.0 series. |
Indeed it does - I just tested it - it looks good as background for the installer. |
Well .. i have already do the job.. only a question to prevent users questions .. Is a problem if this package remove the v17.x.x theme for installed systems ? You know or just let me remember you i have created the same grub theme also for installed system but without the "Welcome to Manjaro" in the top of screen.. We want keep all themes we created? |
We have to look at the topic. Currently I've not established that the installed grub is themed with it. We may introduce it with v18.0, though. How is the package for installed systems named? |
Then normal installed grub has no theme just a background - black with manjaro in bottom right corner. I have made a couple of packages theming the openbox grub - mostly to streamline the booting and login experience.

@philmmanjaro take a look here Edit: pkgbuild is ready to build the 18.0 version .. for now you want a dev release? |
@philmmanjaro try it |
We should start a GFX contest and update our theme once more for v18.0 series ...
