[[Master Chef]] not adding +1/+1 counter to commander as commander ETBs

Hello,

It seems that [[Master Chef]] is not adding a +1/+1 counter to a commander as commander ETBs .

To reproduce. Play [[Master Chef]] and then play a commander. In my case it was [[Tayam, Luminous Enigma]] . Master Chef does indeed add counters to 'other' creatures that ETB.
