The point of Vapour.js is to show the majority of developers looking into or new to JavaScript development that a huge library like jQuery is (no longer) required to get amazing things to happen right inside your browser.

JavaScript is a fantastic language, but it seems in the culture and communities on the Internet that development topics go unheard without a so-called library/framework to stand by.

Vapour.js is an answer to the hype.

Yes, it is a joke.
