Davinci is like Due board - no EEPROM, all settings are stored in EEPROM.bin file on SD Card which act as virtual EEPROM.
To keep your settings, be sure you have a writable SD Card on reader.
To reset EEPROM you can delete the EEPROM.BIN file, it will be recreated next boot.
You may need to load fail safe settings to be sure it is up to date.
