Support for Panucatt Wifi Backpack?

The backpack is apparently a fork of the ESP3D on 8266. There is zero documentation on the Panucatt website. Question: When I select "Marlin" as the Target FW then the SD Files display does not have a "Print" icon shown, but when i select any other FW type, there is a "print" icon by each of the gcode files. Is there a specific setting needed in the UI to work with Marlin or a specific change required in Marlin 2.1.2?

what is the file extension of your gcode files?
or do a screen shot of the screen

I have uploaded files .g, and .gcd, and .gcode. All of them have a Print icon if I select some FW that is not Marlin.

2.1r37 (4 years ago...) is the last panucatt version available indeed, I am not sure what the issue is because there is no print condition on Marlin vs others FW it is same code.
does removing all filters make the button print appear ?

If I click on the FILTER icon, I get a blank FILES display. If I change to Repetier, and click on the Filter Icon , the System Volume file disappears but the rest remain.

I mean remove all extensions in file filter preferences

If I remove all the extensions in Preferences, then the "Print" icon is displayed when "Marlin" FW is selected. Of course when I upload, the remote folder shows all the STLs too. Not the best solution but OK for now.

you may also try latest webui it may also fix this 4 years old webui

I am not certain how to update the webui, as there is no exposed interface or local file system and no instructions

The 4-year old video from Chris's Basement that is posted on Panucatt website says that the Backpack only supports 8.3 filenames. Seems like the webui must be newer than that.

I have tested R27 and I cannot duplicate your issue:

it display all printable with print icon:

the extension gcd was missing so I have add it to preferences:

About print command, indeed the command is not echo in webui terminal but it is send to serial :

Thank you for the detailed settings. Indeed I had something disabled Settings that prevented it from trying to print. I was also not aware of the case sensitivity in the file extentions which is why the PRINT icon did not appear. I am, however getting "Open Failed" for any file i try to print.

This was my issue, swapping cables around and EXP2 was disconnected. Works now!
