In some cases, Loomio treats polls and proposals as isolated items, even if they are embedded in a thread. When users are reminded to vote or the result of a poll is announced, Loomio messages link to the poll or proposal in isolation, not within the context of the thread they might be in. This sometimes makes it hard for users to get a full picture of what they should be voting on, as they have issues navigating to the thread that would contain the info, or they might not be able to comment on the outcome of a poll or proposal because commenting would only be possible in thread view.

I'm suggesting to always link to a poll or proposal within its thread, if it is part of one, and only link to these items in isolation when they are not part of a thread.
