@finnlewis We were asked to take it down by a council as it was too similar to a site they managed. The conversations were in Slack so likely lost. I seem to remember @aaronhirtenstein asked me to take it offline.
Hey folks, yes correct. Tim at Bath & NE Somerset gota request from the Heritage Service, see below:
On an unrelated note, and please direct me elsewhere if it’s not your bag, is it possible to get this demo site taken down please? I think it was built during the microsites testing we took part in. Our Heritage Service is very protective over their branding and have asked us to get it removed. We don’t provide any of their sites for them at the moment ( though that will be changing in future), so they are arguing it’s not really our branding to be able to share/use.
Stephen:
Looking at this site and the Bath Film Office site (https://www.bathfilmoffice.co.uk/) the main branding similarities are the logo. Do you think just replacing the logo would be okay?
Reply from Tim:
Unfortunately not. They have specifically referenced the content as this has been copied from their site
So if you can replace the content and branding then by all means get it back online.
I think our https://site2.demo.microsites.localgovdrupal.org/ has been off for a while.
I've just been setting up the demo site locally and exploring upgrades and new features and see that the domain status is set to 'inactive'.
Is this on purpose for some reason I am not aware of or if it is just an accident.
@stephen-cox @msayoung @willguv any knowledge?
