Redirects per microsite

Talking to @Dixonj1 (Jamie from Wirral), who wants to enable redirects on microsites.

We don't currently have redirect module enabled on microsites (or on LocalGov Drupal).

Question:

• Do redirects respect the microsites / group they are on or are they active for all microsites?

Redirects are entities, so I suspect it's possible to make them group content, but quite how they could be managed I'm not sure. It's certainly going to need more work than just enabling the module.

With the group sites 4.x version it might (I think does) become possible to start using standard admin pages; adding entity create hooks to add the relation from the group context. That would become less work in adding to a custom microsites UI; but would break our current admin interface patterns. Writing a new additional admin interface would for sure be more work.
