Is this a new feature request?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Wanted change

First off, thanks for the project!

I would like an environment variable to set the key size when getting certificates from LE.

Reason for change

More bits == more secure, depending on who you ask.

Proposed code change

A code change was proposed and then closed in favor of "a different way in the near future" (ref).

If that change was implemented, it wasn't documented in the README (as far as I can see), and if it wasn't I would politely suggest that "near future" has passed and attention is given back to the original PR, #237.

As an aside, if changes were made a reference to them in that PR thread would have helped then-future now-present folks like myself find it.
