 * Xed version (xed --version) 3.2.2
 * Distribution - (Mint 17.2, Arch, Fedora 25, etc...) Mint 20.3

Issue
Xed wants to save file before you can close it. It can't save the file because the USB-stick it came from has already been removed. But there is no need to save it, because the content hasn't been changed since the stick was removed.

Steps to reproduce

Open file from USB-stick.
Change the content.
Save the content.
Remove the USB-stick.
Close the file.

Expected behaviour
It should just close the file without signalling a problem. It should not try to save unchanged files.
