Bug description

There is a GitHub issue discussion about this, here: JabRef/jabref#10731 (comment) . The bibliographical Java program JabRef (http://jabref.org) is opening in expanded mode / fullscreen mode with no window decorations and the drop-down menus don't work. All LinuxMint/Cinnamon users are finding this. The discussion has now narrowed down the problem to an interaction with Cinnamon.

Steps to reproduce

Open the JabRef program (any recent version and recent pre-release test versions).

Expected behavior

Ability to maximize, minimize and move windows.
