Working with AVC

Hello!
Your program looks good, but I can't use it because I'm working with AVC codec and not familiar with HEVC. I don't know how much the AVC and HEVC video streams differ, so my question is whether the program is capable of working with AVC stream in some way? And if it isn't, do you know of an analogous program that can do it?
