Problem:

After I log in using a Github personal access token, I do see the 4 options of 'Repository', 'Branch', 'Pull arrow' and 'Push arrow' appear in my script.google.com page.
But, when I click on 'Repository' pull down, nothing appears there.

Additional Info:

  • I'm not using any ad-blockers
  • I have tried relaunching the chrome
  • I have tried in incognito mode
  • I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app

Please make sure your access token has the repo permission.

You can open the developer tools panel to check the request and response sent from the extension

Reporting the same issue. On purpose, I created a repo-scoped github access token (basically an app token, as described here.

The token grants all necessary permissions (Metadata (mandatory) - Read-only access, Contents - Read & Write access, Gists - Read & Write access).

In theory it should all work while I am allowing access only to the specific repo I need to use with GAS. I will be happy to help with further debugging.
