Error:
When I load the LibreOffice Calc application with the LT 6.4 extension installed, I receive an error that causes the application to become unstable until it collapses. I am using macOS 14.4.1 (23E224) on a MacBook Air with an M1 processor; the version of LibreOffice is 24.2.1.2 (AARCH64). Before upgrade to version 6.4, the LT extension did not receive this error; it also happens with the other LibreOffice applications, but with Calc it is every time.

I’ve attached an image with the error.

What operation were you performing when the error occurred?

The issue remains unresolved; I continue to receive an error message each time I open a file in Calc. Following the error, the application freeze and becomes unresponsive, I need to force quit the application.

Recently upgrade LibreOffice to 24.2.2.2 version, but the add-on of LT is still 6.4

Version: 24.2.2.2 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: d56cc158d8a96260b836f100ef4b4ef25d6f1a01
CPU threads: 8; OS: macOS 14.4.1; UI render: default; VCL: osx
Locale: es-MX (es_419.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

The error appear every time I open a saved file of LibreOffice Calc (.ods) with some information, after a seconds LT add-on trying to find grammar or spelling errors, it's hanging.

Sorry, I didn't mean updating LO, but LT to the latest developer version. You can find them here:
https://internal1.languagetool.org/snapshots/ (newest OXT)
I tested the problem under Linux and Windows. The error appears to be a Mac-specific problem. I can't test the solution because I don't have access to a Mac. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could test the solution. Please give me feedback afterward.

The error still persists; I have updated to the April 28, 2024 version (6.5-SNAPSHOT), and after performing the same steps, the same error occurs again. The operation I am performing is the most normal and routine that can be done with LO Calc: 1. open LO, 2. open a saved Calc file, 3. seconds later the error appears. We will continue testing, attached is an image of the error.

I have updated to the 6.5-SNAPSHOT version from yesterday, April 29th; and I wish to report that the issue has been resolved, I no longer receive the error message and the add-on works correctly. I appreciate the follow-up to resolve this issue, as the combination of LibreOffice and LanguageTool is my preferred choice.

Thanks @FredKruse
