Plugin error on load LibreOffice Calc for macOS #10531
Comments
What operation were you performing when the error occurred? |
The problem has now been resolved. Please test it with the snapshot tomorrow. |
Alright, I will test it tomorrow and provide feedback on the outcome. Thanks, @FredKruse |
The issue remains unresolved; I continue to receive an error message each time I open a file in Calc. Following the error, the application freeze and becomes unresponsive, I need to force quit the application. Recently upgrade LibreOffice to 24.2.2.2 version, but the add-on of LT is still 6.4
The error appear every time I open a saved file of LibreOffice Calc (.ods) with some information, after a seconds LT add-on trying to find grammar or spelling errors, it's hanging. |
Sorry, I didn't mean updating LO, but LT to the latest developer version. You can find them here: |
Another try: Please test tomorrow's snapshot and provide feedback. |
I have updated to the 6.5-SNAPSHOT version from yesterday, April 29th; and I wish to report that the issue has been resolved, I no longer receive the error message and the add-on works correctly. I appreciate the follow-up to resolve this issue, as the combination of LibreOffice and LanguageTool is my preferred choice. Thanks @FredKruse |
Error:
When I load the LibreOffice Calc application with the LT 6.4 extension installed, I receive an error that causes the application to become unstable until it collapses. I am using macOS 14.4.1 (23E224) on a MacBook Air with an M1 processor; the version of LibreOffice is 24.2.1.2 (AARCH64). Before upgrade to version 6.4, the LT extension did not receive this error; it also happens with the other LibreOffice applications, but with Calc it is every time.
I’ve attached an image with the error.
