Does lagopus support DPDK software PMD's like ring interfaces,tap interfaces, net_pcap interfaces to be added to a lagopus bridge?

Yes.
In DSL, e.g.
interface interface0 create -type ethernet-dpdk-phy -device "net_pcap0,iface=eth0"
