We have some logging software that is regularly taking measurements from several devices. If one of these devices is unplugged we want the software to continue logging, which is easy to do. It would be nice, however, to have the logging script resume taking data from the unplugged device once it is plugged back in. Is there any way to re-establish communication with a device that has been unplugged and then plugged back in from a python script?
Any help is appreciated.
