Before verifying the integrity of my backups I wanted to clear the Kopia cache to ensure that the verification was as complete as possible, so I ran the command kopia cache clear and got the following result:
Subsequently, I restored one of my last backups (to verify the integrity of it), but when I looked at the logs I noticed that the following error kept repeating itself over and over again:
unable to add faf60a6fcdsa12ddas342c1133a985d-s97096das1as37fa128q to metadata: cannot create temporary file: cannot create directory: can't re-create top-level directory /home/user/.cache/kopia/a4daf759c30al3f4/metadata: top-level directory not found
Additionally, when cancelling the restore, the following error also started to appear:
unable to add 3b4123xd4d172b9613ads1231d437.0.2.0 to contents: cannot create temporary file: cannot create directory: can't re-create top-level directory /home/user/.cache/kopia/a4daf759c30al3f4/contents: top-level directory not found
I checked the contents of directory /home/user/.cache/kopia/a4daf759c30al3f4 and indeed there were no directories metadata and contents in it.
I just checked and the following errors are also occurring in the periodic maintenance:
unable to sweep cache: error processing directory shards: error reading directory: open /home/user/.cache/kopia/a4daf759c30al3f4/own-writes: no such file or directory
Kopia version: 0.17.0 (the latest at the moment).
