Testing this on a Big Sur Intel Mac trying to update to Monterey. It keeps trying to add a version info file.
I used this script to get the newest macOS Monterey
https://github.com/scriptingosx/fetch-installer-pkg

This is what the log shows in Jamf and it then downloads the same pkg again and does a loop.

Submitting log to https://myjamf.jamfcloud.com/
/Applications/Install macOS Monterey.app found, checking version.
