Hi love the work, I use it to keep track of team mates times. But I really want to have that I can add a clock with only a GMT offset and that it shouldn't change with DST as I have a member in the same timezone but their DST doesn't change together with another so I would like to have them a static GMT offset and if their location changes with DST then I will update it. I I can suggest to put in the country or city the member is in and if they are both in the same time it shows together, but when their country changes it would split to two different times. another suggestion is to be able to type and search for the the timezone with the city, state or country, (and if the country spans over multiple timezones to show the options). otherwise great work.

Hi, thanks for the suggestions. As for the static GMT offset, I will try to add that feature soon per your request together with an option to not change with DST. I think it would not involve too much work.

I have already thought of doing the search feature but just have been too busy lately ... I will try to add those when I find some time :)

I would like to make it very easy for users to search for and find time zones by city / country (ideally also by state / region). Keep in mind that out of the box, Apple lists only one or 2 cities from each country for most countries (other than the USA). So that means that the app would need to get city / state names from a database or static list of some sort ... this will take some research and effort. But, I will definitely give it some thought and see what I can find time to implement. I may implement it in small steps / stages.

Cheers !

Hi, thanks for getting back so quick! Busy is good.

I would further suggest that having a list of friends or teammates that you want to see their time, to have the list of clocks as a list of friends & teammates where you can list them and their region. If any friends or teammates are in the same timezone it will group them together and if on of the friends or teammates regions applies DST it will change them to a new clock or add one if none are in there.

Apple has city listed in there world clock but the you ask someone what timezone they are in they will answer in a country. So it might be worth it to have clocks listed by country and if a country has two or more clocks in it I would find out how the natives differentiate between the different timezones. E.g. United States > Atlantic (AST), Eastern (EST), Central (CST), Mountain (MST), Pacific (PST), Alaska (AKST), Hawaii–Aleutian (HAST).

What did the second hand say to the hour and minute hand? "See you around in a minute, guys."

Best!

Yeah, ok ... I get that you want to have your coworkers / teams and their timezones ... I like that idea. That could be another new field in each clock. Plus groupings by region / team / whatever for convenient browsing and organization.

For now, you can edit the name field of each clock to indicate your co-workers' names. For example, "Thomas (Berlin)" ... "Steven (Los Angeles)".

Yes, grouping by country makes the most sense ... I would like to add multiple groupings: 1 - by country, 2 - by continent, 3 - by city, 4 - by offset, etc ... in addition to the search. Eventually :)
