how to check the pvc subdir path in gluster volume when i use external mode ?

The PVs would be provided as subdirectories - this is similar to how a PV is created in kadalu native way.
i understand when a pvc is created, it will create a subdir path in gluster volume ,but when i mount this gluster volume to a subdirectory , i go into this subdirectory ,i do not see anything, who can help me ? thanks
