htmlButtonResponse: 2x2 array of buttons

I am utilizing the html button response plugin to display the card decks, which currently are displayed in one horizontal line. I have been trying to make them display in a 2x2 grid to make it more user-friendly on mobile. I have realized that the html becomes complicated, since the html within "button_html:" is repeated for every one of the buttons when not in an array. I also have not been able to find a way to utilize the array feature for "button_html" to make the grid 2x2.

I tried an image container approach, which resulted in each button displaying as a 2x2 grid of cards. Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
