The inclusion of e-MERLIN in the EVN can cause some of the observations to fail (especially when phase referencing). This seems to occur when there's lots of diffuse flux on the shortest baselines. With many EVN data-sets now including e-MERLIN, it may be worth adopting a different strategy in the pipeline to process these data.
