Quick summary

On original JVS boards found in 2x6 games dip switches existed to change the games output to 480p which in-turn would address the flickering screen for non-crt televisions. Can these dip switch settings be added to Play!?

System Details

Describe the ambient being used to run Play!
Information needed:

  • Win7 x64
  • Hardware: Intel i7 4790k, GTX 970
  • Version of Play!: .62 stable release

Issue Details

As noted above, a solution to address the flickering screen for Namco 2x6 games. (Emulate jvs dip switch settings)

我认为项目组应该把主要精力倾向于2x6街机项目,而不是ps2和namco 147街机

While this would be a useful to emulate, there are some games that can only run at 15khz otherwise they either ignore that dip setting or refuse to boot (e.g. Time Crisis 4, I recall, is one of those games but I have yet to test this dip setting on a cab I somewhat have access to).

For all games that can only run at 15khz, they could be deinterlaced through post processing.
