wont let you actully work on a running program in the shell.

Once I ran my program and it got to the part for me to type in my stuff to make it do its thing it wouldn't let me I was forced to kill the shell and actually use the command prompt and not the shell inside brackets and that is a bit of a hassle to have to do. Idk how to fix this problem but I think that would be a major one that needs fixed.
