Hey James,
This resource is simply fantastic! Thanks for sharing. In the absence of clear tutorial for Perl, this is the best way to start, which actual examples.

Please feel free to ignore my bug reports, just posting for posterity so it gets documented. The least we can do when you went through the trouble of making this lib.

LCDPanel.pl, AngularMeter.pl, LinearMeter.pl have a custom interpreter path in the first line. Should be

#! /usr/bin/perl

Hope you are still around. Sorry for the delayed response. I bought a new laptop and didn't bring my old stuff over(on a USB drive somewhere) which included my github setup. So, I haven't been checking my repository regularly.

Thanks for the nice comment. While wxDemo is a slick program, I felt that things they had to do to tie everything together into the neat package tended to obscure how to actually accomplish things. So, I'm retired with lots of time on my hands and I took on stand alone conversions of the examples in the wxBook. Fun and a good learning exercise. If I did it again, I could do it better...

I've finally figured out Sizers and how to read/translate the wxWidgets documentation which makes things a lot easier. There was a push a few months back to write a wxPerlBook. Haven't heard any updates lately.

Any new examples that I have developed since my last posting here has been posted on Perl Monks.

James
