Describe the bug
When modifying a shape which is assigned to one layer and it connects to a shape from another layer, the shape appears to become member of both layers, but this is not visible when selecting the shape an checking the layer menu.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create Layer 1 and Layer 2 and sort them according this stack: Layer 1, Layer 2, Background
  2. Select Layer 2 and create rectangle in Layer 2
  3. Select Layer 1 and create directional connector in Layer 1
  4. Connect directional connector in Layer 1 to corner of rectangle in Layer 2
  5. Toggle visibility of Layer 1, Layer 2 and Background
  6. Check visibility of directional connector and its layer assignment in the layer menu

Expected behavior
Directional connector on Layer 1 becomes only invisible when switching Layer 1 visibility off, but remains visible when switching Layer 2 visibility off.
