Ability to swap between multiple projects within a singular tab

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Switching between multiple projects at once via the use of different windows, especially when limited to a single screen (i.e. a laptop) is frustrating. Having 3/4+ projects open at once and changing between them via the windows task bar gets old.

Describe the solution you'd like
Implementing a system similar to how Photoshop (or other editing programs) works would be fantastic, see attached image.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Using Alt-Tab is an alternative, however not to the same effect.
